A vet is on hand to administer the vaccinations.

You will be given documentation for the rabies shot, and you are responsible for keeping this documentation for your future use.  We will be unable to provide copies of your documentation in the event you misplace it.

March 18, 2017: Leiscester Fire Department, 2825 Leiscester Highway (Hwy 63) Leicester, NC.  2PM to 4 PM

April 15, 2017: Madison County Arts Council, 90 S Main St, Marshall, NC 28753  10 AM to 12 Noon

May 20, 2017: Mars Hill Fire Department, 65 Ivy Street, Mars, Hill, NC 28754.  2PM to 4 PM

June 17, 2017: Center Community Center, 1300 Grapevine Road, Marshall, NC 28753.  10 AM to 12 Noon

July 15, 2017:Hot Springs Community Center (Bill Whitton Center) North Andrews Avenue, Hot Springs, NC 28743.  10 AM to 12 Noon

Rabies Vaccine: 1 year  $10.00,  3 year $15.00  (bring current rabies certificate to get 3-year booster) 

DHPP $15.00 1 year Dogs only

DHPP $20.00 3 year Dogs only

Bordetella, $20.00 Dogs only.

Lepto, $10.00 Dogs only.

FVRCP-Felv, $25.00 Cats only. This is a feline leukemia combo.

Microchipping, $20.00 Both dogs and cats.

Procedure

It is not necessary to preregister. Bring your dog on a leash and your cat in a carrier to the location.

Microchipping

For an additional $20.00 a tiny microchip can be placed under your dog or cat's skin. It's quick and painless, and contains a code which will make it possible to find your contact information.

  • 788 cats & dogs were spayed & neutered
  • 18,629 lbs of cat & dog food was distributed to the needy & homebound 
  • 1,500 rabies vaccinations were given through Rabies Clinics plux approx. 30 per S/N Clinic
  • 8 Dog houses given to owners with dogs in need of shelter
  • 8 Fences givenn to owners with dogs on a chain.
  • 533 flea and tick prevention applications were distributed to pet owners
  • 83 Vetrinary Assistance Vouchers were given out to help owners with sick or injured pets.
