Who is FoMCA?

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, with an office in downtown historic Marshall, FoMCA provides free and low-cost services to pet owners in need, with the goal of reducing pet overpopulation, preventing neglect, suffering and the unnecessary relinquishment or abandonment of animals. We strive to preserve the human/animal bond by keeping pets and their families together when they hit on hard times.

FoMCA provides immense value to the community by supporting the most at-risk pets and their owners, increasing access to pet related services in the rural areas of our county or “resource deserts,” as well as being the only low-cost spay/neuter provider in our county. The benefit for everyone is a knowledgable, caring community that takes care of and provides for their animals and their people.

We are proud to offer a number of area wide programs. Spay/Neuter, Trap/Neuter/Return, Veterinarian Assistance ProgramPet Food Pantry, Pet Health Clinics and Other Programs

Volunteer opportunities abound here as well. Simply put, we rely on and would love to have your support in any capacity.

Friends of Madison County Animals is a nonprofit 501c-3 organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
