More Opportunities to Help

Office Volunteer – Work with our office manager and our other volunteers!  Help us with all types of daily activities and special events.

Community Outreach   Help with exciting annual events. Decorations, entertainment, food & beverage, PR & invitations, community flyers, brochures, silent auction, sponsorship. Help us brainstorm new ideas for advertising and for our existing donors and new donors!

Grant Writing & Research – Assist with grant research and applications. Must have good writing and organizational skills.

School & Community Education – Work with us to expand our humane education program! We hope to also work with older children and establish more of a presence in our schools through presentations and programs that encourage student involvement.

Fence Building and Other Special Projects – Support our Chain Free effort by participating in building fences for qualifying clients.

Fence Building requires a site check as the very first step. The owner of the property is responsible for building the fences if they are capable of the job. If not, then physically strong volunteers appreciated, but all welcome! No experience necessary.

Will involve a few hours or so on a weekend as clients are scheduled. We would love to have a handyman join us who understands fence building and can lead our teams. A final check is required at the end of about a 3 Week period.

Do you want to help out, but can’t join in as a volunteer? There are many items we’d love to receive as donations.
