Trap/Neuter/Return

TNR is essential to help control the over population of free roaming and feral cat colonies. If you know of a feral/free roaming cat colony, email [email protected] for help with TNR. It’s free to you and at the same time worth so much to all the cats we help!

Read below for what we love about TNR:

TNR is a proven procedure in which entire colonies of feral cats are:

  • Humanely trapped
  • Evaluated
  • Vaccinated
  • Neutered by veterinarians
  • Returned to their outdoor environment
  • Provided with food

The breeding stops. Annoying behavior of breeding cats stops and eventually the populations are reduced.

Friends2Ferals

  • Friends2Ferals works with many local vets to address the medical issues of our community cats and kittens.  They work with local rescue groups to rehome abandoned pets and community kittens.
Whenever possible they provide food to community cat colonies.

A Big Shoutout to the students in Madison Middle School!

The students at Madison Middle School have contributed to helping the free  Roaming Cat Colonies by constructing cat houses so these kitties have a safe and warm place to survive the cold winters!  Friends2Ferals will be placing these cat houses with free roaming cat colonies in Madison County.
